My Story…
I am participating in the Gear Up for Housing bike ride on May 4. This is my third time participating in this 50km bike ride around Toronto in support of St. Clare’s Multifaith Housing. Please consider sponsoring my ride!
St. Clare’s is an multi faith non-profit housing organization in Toronto with activist roots. St. Clare’s builds and establishes deeply affordable housing that serves as an avenue into permanent housing for people who chronically struggle with homelessness. This year, all donations will fund the building of 25 new units on Ossington Ave. We know that providing access to deeply affordable housing is critical for folks to rebuild their lives after experiencing homelessness and to prevent homelessness in the first place.
Some friends and I are participating as team “Radical Shift”. My goal is to raise $500 this year. All donations receive a tax receipt.

Please help me grease the wheels! I’m cycling around Toronto to help end homelessness.
St. Clare’s is an innovative non-profit organization that uses a unique housing model that serves as an avenue into housing for people who chronically struggle with homelessness. And they're more than a social justice landlord. Since 1998, St. Clare's has established 762 affordable housing units in 7 of Toronto's downtown neighbourhoods. Every donation to Gear Up for Housing goes directly to St. Clare's development activities to establish much-needed, deeply affordable housing.This year, all funds raised will go towards the building of 25 new units of housing alongside their existing building at 1120 Ossington Ave.
