1 RUN is a 5 km charity-run event dedicated to raising crucial funds for patient assistance fund at the QE2. This event empowers participants to define their "One Run" in honour of anyone in their lives affected by cancer, allowing each runner to bring a personal touch to their participation. This event was created by three members of the Dalhousie Football Team in support of their teammate Grayson Domingues, who has been battling cancer for the past two years.
Join us at the Shubie Canal Park in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, where you'll partake in a scenic 5K run and enjoy a day filled with festivities and community spirit. With contributions from various organizations, the event promises to be a celebration of hope, resilience, and solidarity. Whether you run for a family member, friend, or anyone impacted by cancer, your participation in 1 RUN helps support the QE2's Patient Assistance Fund.
