This year, 1Run is partnering with the QE2 Foundation, raising funds for their Patient Assistance Fund.
Developed by the QEII Foundation, the QEII Patient Assistance Fund supports patients by helping them cover essential expenses that can become burdensome during illness. Grants of up to $1,000 assist with costs such as rent, mortgage, lodging, utilities, transportation to medical appointments, food, car insurance, phone services, and medications not covered by medical plans. This vital support is entirely donor-funded, directly benefiting patients and their families during times of need. Illness or injury often disrupts daily life, leading to loss of income, increased travel, and added strain on patients and their families.
With rising living costs, the need for financial assistance has become even more critical. Donations to the QEII Patient Assistance Fund help patients focus on their health by alleviating financial worries. This support creates an immediate impact, as grants are quickly administered to meet patients' unique needs.
