The Driveway 5k

For this 3rd race in the series, we'll have 2 races starting with an Open 5K at 6:45 am, followed by a Competitive Women's and Men's 5K both starting together at around 7:15 am. This course is ideal for spectators wanting to see the race action.

Competitive Women's & Men's 5K Race
Cash prizes will be awarded in the Competitive Women's and Men's 5K race, $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd will be awarded to the top male and female competitors.

This looped course gives spectators a chance to see the action. The loop is a little under 2 miles distance, so the race covers almost 2 laps for the 5K. The course is USATF Certified. You can view the course loop here: The Driveway 5K - MapMyRun.

This year we'll have 6 races, 3 on Saturday Mornings and 3 on Thursday Evenings.

Race Dates:

1. Saturday, May 11th, first race starting at 7:00am
2. Thursday, June 6th, first race starting at 8:10pm
3. Saturday, July 20th, first race starting at 6:45am
4. Saturday, August 17th, first race starting at 7:00 am
5. Thursday, September 12th, all combined races starting at 8:10 pm (Register here)
6. Thursday, October 17th, first race starting at 8:10 pm (Registration Page coming soon)

• Start Times, Saturday races: 6:45am for Open race, Competitive Races will follow a rolling start after the completion of the previous race. Saturday races will be on May 11th, July 20th, and August 17th.
• Start Times, Thursday races: 8:10pm for combined Open and Competitive 5K Race. Thursday race will be on June 6th, September 12th and October 3rd.
• Packet Pickup: Bibs can be picked up at The Loop (115 Sandra Muraida Way Ste 105B, Austin, TX 78703) on the day before each race, or on race day at the race site, starting 1 hour before the start time.
