No; this is a 2.5km or 5km non competitive run/walk.
Can I enter if I do not have a Dog?
Yes, you can enter if you do not have a Dog.
Do we all start together?
Yes, the 5km run/walk first followed by the 2.5km run/walk.
Is the Event timed?
No.
What time does it start?

Do I get a Number?
Yes; this is in your Event Pack
What is an Event Pack?
This is a pack with your Event Number in it, with Event Information that is needed for your safety before, during and after the event.
What if I lose my number?
No number, no start, this is how we identify all competitors.
What do we wear/bring?
- Comfortable running/walking shoes
- A lead - no longer than 3 metres
- Water and treats - we will have food vendor/coffee for humans
- A positive attidue and a love for dogs
- All dogs are to bring a human, you can bring more than 1 human
Can I buy a Pawsome Run T-Shirt
Yes; you can purchase these when you enter.
When do I get my T-Shirt if I purchase one?
The t-shirts will be with your Event Pack.
Is there medic's available if I hurt myself?
Yes; Lifecare Medical Services will be present, marshals will contact them if someone needs assistance.
Will there be water drinks around the route?
Yes, there will be a water stop set up during the run/walk, if someone needs some water and at the Finish.
Is there car parking?
Yes; there will be an area set up for car parking and there will be parking at the Canterbury Agriculture Park

Health & Safety:
- Dogs ensure that your human is in good health and capable of completing the 2.5km or 5km.
- If your human has had heart palpitations or shortness of breath over the last 2-weeks, please get then checked out.
- If anyone has Covid or a family member has had had covid over the last 7-days please refrain from attending.
- All of us dogs have to be in good health as well with up-to-date vaccines as we don’t want to get any of those illnesses.
- Bring water, although there will be water stops for hydration around the course and there are heaps of taps at the park “but just in case something happens it’s good to have an emergency supply of water.
- Follow all the event rules and instructions.
- There will be medics available for the Humans and a Vet for us dogs
