We are excited to announce the upcoming 12th annual Vicki Soto 5K. This memorable and impactful event Will be filled with a great sense of community and support as participants come together to honor Vicki Soto's legacy and raise funds for the Vicki Soto Memorial Foundation. We are working hard to make it an unforgettable day for all participants.

On race day, all who join us can expect a well-organized and inspiring event. The event includes a 5K run/walk on a USATF-certified race route that will take participants from the amphitheater through Seaside Park, with picturesque views of the Long Island Sound.

The post-race celebration features music, FREE FOOD and FREE BEER, and family-friendly activities for all participants and spectators who purchase a wristband. The atmosphere will be one of positivity and encouragement, with volunteers and supporters cheering on the participants every step of the way.

It's important to highlight that all proceeds from the event go directly to the Vicki Soto Memorial Foundation. This 5013c nonprofit supports educational initiatives, scholarships for future educators, and community outreach. By participating in the 5k, runners and walkers make a meaningful contribution to these important causes and show their support for the local community.

If you're not running or walking but still want to join the festivities, like our selection of food trucks, beer, and other vendors, purchase a spectator wristband for $20.00.

Bibs and race shirts must be picked up before the start of the race. No with admittance into the Hartford healthcare, amphitheater, without a bib or a spectator wristband.
