ABOUT THE KITES AND RAINBOWS RUN
Join us in Starkville for the inaugural Kites and Rainbows Run on Saturday, May 10, in support of Mississippi's only children's hospital! This exciting event offers multiple race options, including a 10K run, 5K run or walk, fun run, and an aquathlon, hosted in partnership with Mississippi State University.
All races start at The Junction on MSU’s campus, with routes passing through some of Starkville’s most iconic landmarks. The event takes place Mother’s Day weekend and coincides with the Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State baseball series, bringing together fans from both schools in support of Mississippi’s kids.

Aquathlon: 5K Run + 800-Yard Swim

Participants will start with the 5K run, transition mid-race into an 800-yard swim in the Sanderson Center pool, and then hit the road again to complete the run.
