Kites and Rainbows Run

Join us at the Kites & Rainbows Run in Starkville and make a difference for Mississippi’s only children’s hospital! Volunteers are essential to creating an exciting, smooth, and successful event—whether you're handing out water, cheering on participants, or assisting with event logistics, your support goes beyond the race to impact children in need.

Ways to Get Involved

There’s a place for everyone to help! Whether you’re an individual or part of a group, you can:

• Assist with Registration & Packet Pickup – Welcome participants and help with check-in.
• Work a Water Station – Hand out water and cheer on runners as they pass.
• Claim a Cheer Section – Bring signs, music, and enthusiasm to keep spirits high!
• Guide Participants on the Course – Make sure runners stay on track and encourage them along the way.
• Help at the Start/Finish Line – Congratulate finishers, distribute medals, and celebrate participants.

Make It Your Own!

We invite community groups, student organizations, alumni, Greek life, and local businesses to take part together! Claim a station along the course and personalize it—bring your school colors, banners, music, or anything that makes your spot stand out.
