Snowden Forest is some of the most gorgeous single-track we've seen on Vancouver Island. It's generally incredibly soft ground with gentle turns and rolling hills. This is a fast course. Both courses have approximately 2km on gravel road at the start and the finish (we tried our best to shorten this!).
If this is your first time participating in one of our events, you should be warned that the distance advertised is generally a 'minimum'. There's usually an extra 5-10% depending on how your watch pings the GPS. We wouldn't want you to come up short! ;)
The course will be well-flagged, but it's always a good idea to familiarize yourself with it ahead of the event.
Although we do not expect or plan it, the course may change right up until the start time.
Aid Stations
We will have one aid station on the 26k course, approximately 12k in. You can expect water, electrolytes and an assortment of calories.
