PARKING / TRANSPORTATION
There is plenty of parking at PRT Nursery (Race Central), however we encourage you to carpool.
When using Google Maps, search "PRT Nursery", not the street address previously provided as it gives the incorrect location. See map below.
11k racers: Access to the Race Venue will be closed briefly from about 10:55-11:05 as 26k runners start their race through the entrance to PRT.
ZERO WASTE
Our goal is to make this event zero-waste, meaning that there is absolutely nothing that goes to the landfill. We will make the commitment to not bring any waste that must go to the landfill to this event and will have our Green Team on site for recycling of waste created.
WE ARE CUP-FREE AND WILL NOT HAVE ANY DRINKING VESSELS, PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN. We do not support the whole process of manufacturing and transporting cups only to be used for a few sips of water and then discarded.
TIMING / RACE BIBS
To reduce costs (and your registration fee) and keep things simple, we will not have chip timing in our first year.
We will provide recyclable race bibs for all participants. Early registrants will have theirs personalized with their names.
We will have a large race clock at the finish line with the official race time, however, we will not be recording or publishing official results. Keeping the race simple and affordable with our focus on participation, the event will be self-timed. Make sure to hit start on your watch! ;)
We encourage you to record your run on Strava, as we have created a segment of the race course and you can compare your results to others if this is important to you. More information on that will be provided before the race and you can download Strava here: https://www.strava.com/dashboard
AWARDS
We will have a very small and short award ceremony for the top 3 men and women finishers of both courses only. Plus some other giveaways.
