Thanks for signing up for Blue Bully Ultra. I really appreciate everyone taking a chance on a brand-new event. There are so many races to do - thank you for picking Blue Bully.

Sorry for the slow communications. It has been one doozy of a season. Don't worry - it isn't just you bullies who haven't been getting enough communications, it's everyone. 😒😬 And my apologies for that. And yes, I think we'll call BBU competitors Bullies.

I spent yesterday and today updating the website, so take a look, and hopefully 90% of what you need is there.

Here are a few As to Qs that have come up recently:

• We haven't put up GPX files of the course for two reasons. 1/ we want near perfect data, and it's been hard to get there. 2/ we will have to make a couple of tweaks and I hate to send out info, then send it out again. We have a mess of data and we're trying to make it clean.
• Elevation - I'm mostly confident that the elevation is 1,800m-ish... Any time you dump a file into a different software/app, they all parse the data differently. So one might show 1,200m with xyz distance, one might show 1,800m with zxy distance, and one might show 3,000 with yzx distance. These files often contain a lot of noise, which has to be filtered.
• It's going to be a tough race. We only do tough things!
• The aid station info is now on the website, including what you get at each station.
• Information about drop bags and support crews.

Still to do for Monday (probably sooner):

• Why isn't the kids' race course online. Frankly... the last kids course I designed made kids cry, so I was considering going back to the drawing board. 🥺 The parents loved it though. We have the kids race course here and I'll put it online ASAP. We have kids from around 2 to 15 at these wee races, and it's really tough to do something for that whole range... without making someone cry. I am totally open to suggestions from parents on this one!
• Get the GPX files cleaned up. Note that we likely have to verify and adapt two reroutes due to some new developments with landowners. 😒
• I will split the map to have the 25k as separate. I thought it was clear that you just had to turn at the one marked turnaround, but I can see that this isn't exactly easy to follow. My bad!
