Team That's Your Pedo! is proud to return to the Homeboy Industries 5K for our eighth year, running in memory of Alfred "Freddy" Luna Jr. and Ruth "Cuca" Fry.

Freddy's journey reflects the mission of Homeboy: that everyone deserves a chance to start over. Ruth, a steadfast supporter of that mission, reminds us that advocacy can come from every corner of the community.

Our team name, "That's Your Pedo," comes from Freddy's signature catchphrase—his way of saying, "Own your stuff, and don't forget to laugh." That phrase became our team name, and over time, it's grown into a banner for something bigger: joy, resilience, and transformation.

In a time when empathy, dignity, and redemption are more important than ever, we run to uplift those values. Each step supports the life-changing work of Homeboy Industries—providing job training, education, therapy, and hope to thousands.
