REFUNDS & CANCELLATION
Each event has its own refund structure; this is based on the launch day and event day. Based on how long before the event you contact us, what you are entitled to. Options for refunds are 75%, 50% and 25% refund. We never, under no circumstance offer 100% refund.
Once the structure reaches 0% refund, these are the reasons why we will make an exception and issue a 50% discount.
- Unexpected medical problems – We will require a medical certificate
- Injury – This will be depending on the injury. We will require a medical certificate and will then be assessed by the Sport Northland Events team. A refund is not guaranteed.
- Family grievance.
Once the structure reaches 0% refund these are some of the reasons why we will not make an exception will not issue a 50% discount.
- Change of mind
- Double booked
- Your friend/family who was running with you is now unavailable
- Coming us of sickness and had no time to train
- Couldn’t organise a babysitter
- Flight/transport got cancelled/delayed
Refund Structure
- 75% Refund- Until 11May
- 50% Refund- 12 May - 21 June
- 25% Refund- 22 June - 2 August
- No Refund - from 3 August
CANCELLATION
Sport Northland reserves the right to cancel the Event at any time. Reasons for cancellation may include, but are not limited to, Sport Northland deciding in its sole discretion cancellation is required due to any sort of dangerous conditions, outbreak of Covid-19 or other communicable disease, natural disaster, acts of war, terrorism and/or similar major event beyond our control.
If the event cannot be run on the original date, Sport Northland will endeavor to reschedule the event to a new date, with all registrations being automatically transferred.
In the unlikely event of cancellation notice will be given on Northland’s More FM 91.6 and on our Facebook Page. Where possible attempts will be made to email participants, who have supplied an email address with their entry. While we will endeavor to make a decision to cancel an event as early as possible due to the nature of such events situations can occur quickly and without warning close to the start of an event.
