What is included in registration?
For the 7k and 7 mile races, participants will receive a bib, a reusable UltrAspire C2 cup, a sticker, and a 7MC hat.
The 0.7k participants will receive a bib, a reusable UltrAspire C2 cup, a sticker, and an optional finisher medal.
What about race shirts?
Shirts are available for purchase during or after registration. To ensure you receive your shirt in your race packet, the cutoff date to order a shirt is July 5th, 2025. Shirts ordered after July 5th will be available for pickup at the store at a later date. Shirts are sold in youth and unisex sizes. You will not be able to exchange sizes on race day, so please be sure to double-check the size you are ordering.
Do I need trail shoes?
We highly recommend wearing trail shoes for this race. While Seven Mile isn't super technical, some of the steep hills can get tricky if you don't have proper footwear.
How will the course(s) be marked?
The course will be marked with PINK reflective ribbon, which will always be on the right side of the trail. We DO NOT block off trails that you are not supposed to go down, so please pay attention.
What are the cutoff times?
There are NO cutoff times for 7MC! We aim to introduce people to trail running, so we strive to make our races as beginner-friendly as possible. We will be there until the last runner (or walker!) crosses the finish line!
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your ID if you need to pick up your packet! We will have items available for purchase, cash only. The Pub 500 Food Truck will be accepting cards. If you plan on hanging out with us afterward, feel free to bring a change of clothes and shoes.
We recommend ALL participants and spectators bring bug spray! We are in the woods, and there will be bugs!
Can I listen to music?
Yes! However, please only wear one headphone (or use bone-conducting headphones) and keep the volume low to so you're still aware of your surroundings.
How much elevation does this race have?
The 7k has 441 feet of elevation. The 7 mile course has 778 feet of elevation.
Will there be aid stations?
Yes! There will be an aid station at mile 3 for both courses and an aid station at mile 5 for the 7 Mile course. In addition to water, Tailwind, and soda, aid stations will have sweet and salty snacks and a few Gu energy gels.
This race is cupless? What does that mean?
A cupless race means that no paper water cups will be available at the start line, finish line, or aid stations, as is typical in organized races. We want to produce as little waste as possible! A reusable silicone cup will be provided in your packet. Feel free to bring a reusable water bottle. Spectators are also encouraged to bring their own reusable cups/water bottles.
Can my friends and family hang out while I run?
Absolutely! We want the start/finish line to have a fun, relaxed, party atmosphere. Spectators are welcome to bring blankets and/or camping chairs to enjoy the event while their loved ones are running. We also plan to have yard games and other activities for spectators.
