Processing Fees
Processing fees are applied by Race Roster to support platform services and operations. These fees will appear during ticket selection, so there are no surprises at checkout.
Pricing Transparency
As of May 12, 2025, federal law requires all mandatory fees to be included in displayed pricing for audience-based events. Race Roster will automatically calculate and display total pricing, including processing fees, on participant pages. Taxes will be added at checkout.
For more details, see the Federal Trade Commission's Final Rule on Junk Fees and pricing transparency guidelines.
Refund Policy
This is a nonrefundable event. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Transfer Policy
Participants may transfer their registration to a friend or family member, or switch between the 1-mile fun run and the 5K, as long as the change occurs within the same calendar year. Each bib is assigned to an individual participant and may not be given away without transferring the registration name online.
Selling your registration to another is not permitted. All transfers must be completed by the day before the event and are subject to a $5 transaction fee.
Disqualification Policy
Participants will be disqualified for failure to follow race instructions or for using someone else’s race bib that is not registered to their name. Anyone running under another person’s registration will not be scored.
For the safety of all participants and in the event of a medical emergency, registration information must match the individual wearing the bib. This also ensures fairness by accurately tracking each runner’s time. If race organizers determine that a bib was used by someone other than the registered participant, both the runner and the original registrant will be banned from NMSU race events for a minimum of two years.
Volunteer Information
MarComm team members and student volunteers can conveniently register online.
You’ll be able to choose your role, access your own dashboard, receive important email updates, and confirm your volunteer duties, all in one place. It’s a simple and convenient way to stay informed and organized.
