KIDS AGAINST HUNGER – Illinois is a non-profit, volunteer driven, locally funded organization that packages dry, highly nutritious food for hungry people in America and starving people in Nicaragua and needed countries.
- 100% of ALL RACE PROCEEDS will feed children.
- Your donation helps us continue to buy raw ingredients to make meals to send meals locally and abroad.
- We have packed and delivered 5.2 million meals at KAH-IL!
- KAH-IL provides opportunity for groups, families and individuals to volunteer in packaging the food and providing funding.
- It is one of over 50 satellites of Kids Against Hunger® whose mission is “Feeding hungry people around the world and around the corner.”
- It distributes a fortified soy/rice casserole-style meal specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of a starving child.
