1. When and where is the Bayley's Orewa Beach Fun Run?

The Bayley's Orewa Beach Fun Run will take place on Saturday 13 December 2025 at Orewa Beach, Auckland. The starting point is near the Orewa Surf Lifesaving Club, with the event starting at 9am.

2. Who can participate?

Everyone is welcome! The event is open to all ages and fitness levels — from seasoned runners to families with strollers. We offer multiple race options:

• 2.5 km Fun Run/ Walk

• 5km Fun Run/Walk

3. How do I register?

You can register here . Online registration closes at 5pm on Friday 12 December, but limited on-the-day entries will be available (cash or card accepted with a late entry fee.

Entry fees vary depending on the category:

• Comfortable running gear and shoes

• Sunscreen, hat, and water bottle

• Your race bib (if pre-registered)

• A positive attitude and beach spirit!

6. Are there prizes?

The Bayley's Orewa Beach Fun Run is about fun and fitness, we don't have prize categories for winners but all, participants will be able to check out their finish time and we will have plenty of spot prizes on the day as well as finishers medals.

7. Will there be refreshments or food available?

Absolutely. We are grateful to the Orewa Surf Club for being able to provide coffee/ drinks and food for supporters and spectators to purchase on the day. Orewa College will also hold a sausage sizzle, the perfect end to a swift run or walk.

8. Is the event dog-friendly?

To ensure the event is enjoyable and safe for everyone, we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home and enjoy the run or walk with friends and family instead. Thank you for helping us create a relaxed, people-focused beach experience for all participants.

9. What happens if it rains?

The Bayley's Orewa Beach Fun Run will go ahead rain or shine, unless severe weather conditions make it unsafe. Updates will be posted on our Facebook page and website.

11. Where do I park?

Free parking is available at the Orewa Surf Club as well as surrounding streets, but spaces fill up fast. Please arrive early and consider carpooling or using public transport.
