Run for Punjab 5k

Join us for the first-ever 5K Run for Punjab Flood Relief in Calgary! This community-driven event brings families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts together to support those affected by the devastating floods in Punjab. Hosted outdoors at the Confluence Plaza, St. Patrick’s Island Park, the run will take place rain, snow, or sunshine —so dress for the weather and be prepared if it’s a chilly morning.

The run is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels — whether you choose to walk, jog, or run, every step you take helps make a difference. Parents, please please accompany your kids/minors during the run. The event is not responsible for monitoring kids/minors. This is a self-timed, non-competitive run, focused on unity, compassion, and collective action. Please remember to bring your own water bottle.

💙 Each participant’s registration includes a $15 minimum donation directly to SAF International, plus a $5 fee (plus processing fees) to cover event costs. SAF International is an internationally recognized humanitarian organization providing direct support and relief to flood-affected communities in Punjab.

Come together with friends, family, and community members for a meaningful day of fitness, solidarity, and hope. Parking is at the Confluence Plaza, St Patricks Island Park and the run will start at The Rise area (as per the course map).
