YouthPlaces creates safe spaces and experiences that inspire young people to imagine, explore, and design their future!
YouthPlaces is thrilled to be back for our 4th year as an official charity with the Pittsburgh Marathon! We can't wait to see all of the amazing individuals who choose to sign up as a charity runner to support YouthPlaces!
Youthplaces offers specialized programming and neighborhood connections that help youth in our community become happy, healthy, and dynamic adults. Our youth are at the center of everything that we do, and we challenge them to unlock their fullest potential by providing the tools they need along the way. By investing in their strengths and abilities, we are able to refine their focus and help them along their path to success.
By running for Youthplaces, your miles will be dedicated to youth all around the Pittsburgh area. What your support helps us do:
$25 - provides one week of meals for a YP youth!
$50 - feeds 2 families for our "YP at your Door" hot meal program.
$75 - sponsors one of our youth for a 6 week program.
$100 - sponsors a youth to play on our YP sports team.
$150 - provides 1 month of materials for an entire YouthPlaces site!
$250 - contributes to ALL of our youth going on our Fun Friday Field Trips to places they have never been.
$500 - provides a recent YP Graduate with first semester of college needs.
$1,000 - sponsors a student on our annual college tour. College tour visits 3-4 schools over a 3 day trip.
