My Story…
As with in years past, I'm running the Pittsburgh Marathon for the Mario Lemieux Foundation. This year will be slightly difference as my training will take a slight back seat for hernia surgery on January 17th, and then I'll have to rest for about 4 weeks till I'm back up to snuff and able to get back at it. But a little hernia surgery will not stop me from getting across that finish line!
And, as with the past 11 years, I'll be raffling off the Signed Pens Jersey to one lucky person that donates to my fundraiser this year!

Since their founding in 1993, the Mario Lemieux Foundation has been focused on finding a cure for cancer by funding research and patient care, and supporting families in challenging medical situations. Through ongoing projects at the Mario Lemieux Center for Blood Cancers, the Mario Lemieux Lymphoma Center, the Mario Lemieux Immunotherapy Center, and the recently established Mario Lemieux Center for Heart Rhythm Care, we support research that translates to clinical trails and innovative therapies that save lives.
