Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation is more than just the largest research institute in the U.S. dedicated to women's health - it's a community of physicians, researchers, and staff who all share the common goal of improving women's lives around the world.

Like many others employed by MWRIF, my family has personally experienced some of the heartbreaking diseases we aim to better understand with our research. While I remain incredibly grateful for the progress that has been made in terms of therapies and cures, I also know that there is much to be discovered.

For this reason, I have chosen to run the 2026 Pittsburgh Marathon in support of the community at MWRIF and their powerful mission.
