Help me Activate the Cure!
**EDIT #2: Another huge round of "Thank you's" is going out as my new fundraising goal has been smashed!!!! In the spirit of helping others and beating childhood cancers, in addition to still having loads of time until the PGH Half Marathon in May, I am upping the anty once again and increasing my goal to $1,500!!!!!!! Let's keep going for The Emily Whitehead Foundation!!!!!!**
*EDIT: Thanks to friends and coworkers, I reached my original goal of $400 in JUST 4 DAYS!!!!! So now it's time to "go big or go home!" I have adjusted my fundraiser for a new goal! Help me make it to $1,000 to help The Emily Whitehead Foundation achieve its mission!!!!*
As a survivor of childhood cancer myself (my big 30 year "Cancerversary" was this spring!) and having lost a good friend in high school from cancer, The Emily Whitehead Foundation is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. This Foundation also hits home because, like Emily Whitehead, I too am from the Philipsburg area. When selecting a charity this year, there really was no question.
Research helps save lives but it can't happen without funding. Please help me raise funds to support research for cures of childhood cancers. Every penny helps. Every donation is appreciated. My hope is that someday, we can put a stop to childhood cancers, and ALL cancers across the board!!!
Donate to help Melissa raise money for 2025 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend’s fundraising campaign.
