Help Caitlin raise money

I am participating in the 2025 Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon and  fundraising for the MS Society in honor of my Mama!

My Mom was diagnosed with MS in 2010 after experiencing Optic Neuritis symptoms in 2009 and having numerous tests. She was on injection medication for 10 years and recently stopped treatment and has not had any further progression!! 

My Mom stated that she personally feels funding that comes from events like The Pittsburgh Marathon are what made research possible to pave the way for some MS patients to successfully go off treatment in their 60’s, as well as providing other advancements that are so valuable in treating the disease.

 I have wanted to raise funds for the MS Society for many years and am happy to be able to again this year with the Pittsburgh Marathon.  My Dad has also raised money for the MS Society via the PA MS bike rides throughout the years and I always looked up to him for not only participating in the events, but also for fundraising for a great cause, and bringing awareness to MS! I hope to carry on that tradition with my boys  someday.

I am so grateful for the money we raised last year and hope to reach my goal for 2025. As I trained last year for the Half Marathon I thought of the many donors that contributed to the cause via my fundraising page with my training sessions (especially those which felt hard) and this year I know will be even harder as I am training for the Marathon. Thank you for your support! Together we can continue to fight to #FinishMS🧡!!
