My Story…
On May 4, I will be running the Pittsburgh Back Half Marathon in support of Animal Friends, a Pittsburgh based animal rescue organization.
Those who know me know that my cat Pip is one of the most important parts of my life. Pip was found on the streets of Pittsburgh and made her way to me through organizations like Animal Friends. Through fundraising for them, I’m hoping to give more animals and people a bond like I have with Pip!

- Rescue and Rehabilitation: We rescue animals in crisis and provide necessary medical care and rehabilitation to prepare them for adoption.
- Adoption Services: We help rehome animals by matching them with loving families.
- Education and Advocacy: We offer educational programs and advocate for animal welfare to ensure healthy pets and responsible pet ownership.
- Affordable Services: We provide affordable veterinary services through their Animal Wellness Center.
- Community Engagement: We inspire and nurture the animal-human bond through various community events and programs.
