Help Craig raise money

This year, I’ll be working with Rush to Crush Cancer—a nonprofit charity organization—to raise money for the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center here in Pittsburgh. Not only does this organization support cancer research to find a cure, but they also help pay for treatments and other necessities for cancer patients and their families.

As many of you know, this past summer, my dad, Bobby B, was diagnosed with stage three colon and rectal cancer. He’s gone through 18 weeks of chemo—eight chemo cycles—plus surgery, and he may have to go through another eight cycles. We’ve been incredibly blessed with an amazing support system and great benefits from our company to help us through this ordeal.

That being said, not everyone is as lucky or as blessed as we are. Knowing this, I wanted to give back and help someone in need.

So, I’ll be running the Pittsburgh Half Marathon this year and raising money with Rush to Crush to support UPMC Hillman Cancer Center—helping to cover necessary treatments for people who can’t afford them and funding critical cancer research.
