My Story…
Thank you for considering a donation to 412 Food Rescue as I run the Pittsburgh Half Marathon in celebration of my 10 year cardiac arrest 'survivaversary.' As many of you know, I collapsed just shy of the finish line while running the Pittsburgh Marathon in 2015, and while I can't do full marathons anymore, I'm excited to run in this year's half. 412 Food Rescue is an innovative local charity that seeks to reduce food waste by delivering food from restaurants, groceries, and other businesses to local non-profits who serve individuals and families facing food insecurity.
