My Story…
This year, I am running the Pittsburgh Half Marathon in honor of my Grandma Rose, a life long Western Pennsylvanian, whose love was best expressed through family, tradition, and—of course—her incredible cooking. She filled her home with the comforting homemade pasta, Sunday sauce, and of course meatballs made with love. As her Parkinson’s progressed, it slowly took away her ability to do what she loved most—cooking for the people she cherished.
To honor her memory, I am raising funds for the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, an organization dedicated to providing support, education, and resources to individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s. Their work is vital in helping those diagnosed maintain their independence and quality of life.
Every mile I run is for my Grandma, for all those still fighting, and their loved ones.
If you’d like to support my journey, please consider donating—every contribution brings us one step closer to improving the lives of those affected by this disease.
Thank you for supporting me and this cause!
