My Story…
Growing up, I was always Pappy’s girl, and it breaks my heart to think about how I watched him suffer as ALS took away his ability to move and speak. It was devastating for all of us because there was nothing we could do to ease his pain or change his fate. Ultimately, this cruel disease took him from us. This experience has ignited a fire within me to fight back against ALS. By running and fundraising for The ALS Association, I hope to contribute to the research and support that can help others facing similar battles. We need to find a cure, and every step I take in this half marathon is a step toward raising awareness and making a difference for everyone affected by ALS.
