MISSION: Inspire young people to become responsible and engaged global citizens for a peaceful world.
CISV is a fully volunteer-run organization that, since 1950, has enabled young people to exchange ideas, share their culture, and make friends around the globe. Starting at age 10, youth can take part in engaging and fun activities both locally and abroad. CISV educates and inspires young people to take on leadership roles for a world built on friendship, cooperation, and community involvement.
Through your generous donation to CISV Montréal St-Grégoire, you will help us continue our activities, such as hosting an international camp in 2026 in Saint-Donat, Quebec. This 23-day camp will welcome 14- and 15-year-olds from 10 different countries, providing them with an opportunity to discover new cultures, understand shared global challenges, and contribute to building a more just and peaceful world.
CISV is a global organization dedicated to education and peacebuilding through friendship, cooperation, and intercultural understanding. Founded in 1950, CISV is now a federation of 70 member associations comprising more than 200 local groups.
CISV envisions a peaceful future for all. Its mission is rooted in respect and intercultural understanding, knowledge of international relations, and borderless friendships.
CISV organizes camps for youth aged 11 to 18, promoting open-mindedness, kindness, and respect. Participants learn tolerance, explore cultural differences, and gain skills in conflict resolution. Key themes in CISV activities include sustainable development, diversity, inclusion, and human rights.
