Help Me Change the Conversation About Epilepsy
One of our sons was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2023. Empowering Epilepsy was such a valuable resource for us, so much so that Dave is now on the board and I'm teaching weekly fitness classes there. Please donate so that we can continue to help those with epilepsy and their families.
Description
Please support me as I join Empowering Epilepsy's Team in the Cleveland Marathon! Their mission means a lot to me because they show people living with epilepsy and their loved ones what they can do.
1 in 10 people will have a seizure in their lifetime. 1 in 26 will be diagnosed with epilepsy. Receiving an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan can take years...even decades.
Empowering Epilepsy's goal is to better educate people with epilepsy on their diagnosis and treatment plan, so they can talk to their doctor and more quickly improve their overall quality of life. They provide free or low cost programs, conferences, and support to help them discover what they can do.
Every dollar raised is helping to empower the lives of people living with epilepsy and seizures in Northeast Ohio!
