This year, I’ve committed to running a half marathon hosted by a breast cancer foundation—a cause that has touched my heart in a deeply personal way. Last summer, I lost my beloved aunt to lung cancer. Watching her strength and resilience left an impact on me that words can hardly describe. When I came across this event, something about it spoke to me. I knew I wanted to be part of something bigger, something meaningful—not only to honor her memory but to stand with every person and family affected by cancer. While the race focuses on breast cancer, for me, this run represents the fight against all forms of cancer and the unbreakable strength of those who endure it. In addition to running, I am raising funds to support the foundation’s efforts in research, treatments, and providing hope to those in the midst of their battle. Every dollar donated is a step toward better outcomes, more resources, and a future where fewer families have to endure the pain of losing a loved one.
