Our story…

Hey, 👋🏽 we’re the Island Queens on the Run 🇭🇹 – a group of passionate individuals running to support those impacted by diabetes, with a special focus on the families who are affected. This cause is especially close to our hearts, as one of our own, Theddie, is living with type 1 diabetes, and her son also has the condition. We’ve witnessed the daily challenges they both face, and we know that diabetes doesn’t just affect the individual—it impacts everyone who loves them.

Watching Theddie and her son navigate life with type 1 diabetes has been a powerful reminder of the physical, emotional, and financial toll it can take on a family. From constant blood sugar checks to managing insulin and navigating uncertainty, we see their resilience, strength, and unwavering love for each other. Their fight inspires us, and that’s why we’re running.

This race is not just a personal goal—it’s our way of standing with Theddie and her son, and for everyone living with diabetes. Every step we take is for them, and for a future where diabetes no longer holds people back.
