Lacing up for the Downtown Eastside 10K run, I’m not just racing for fun – I’m running with purpose because our work isn’t done.

For over a decade in Vancouver and Victoria, I’ve stood side by side with PHS and witnessed compassion on the frontlines far and wide.

PHS provides housing, healthcare, harm reduction and more.

I’ve always wanted to help those most in need, and working with PHS lets me live that mission indeed.

My pharmacy, Community Apothecary, has partnered with PHS for the past eleven years as a team, turning what once was a hope into more than a dream.

The folks at PHS are collaborative, caring, and kind every step of the way.

Together, we go the extra mile to prevent opioid overdoses and keep people alive, providing holistic health care so community members not only survive but thrive.

Now, I’m taking on this 10K with purpose in every stride – not for medals or glory, but to stand by PHS’s side.
