Our story…
The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa are proud to be participating in the 2025 Ottawa Fire Truck Pull on Saturday, September 27th at Lansdowne Park. As a Highland infantry reserve regiment with along and distinguished history dating back to the founding of Ottawa, we are excited to support this event and raise awareness for important causes in our community. Our team will include members from the Camerons’ Tug of War Team, demonstrating our strength, teamwork, and dedication as we pull a 10+ tonne Ottawa Fire Services fire truck 100 feet. We are especially proud to support Epilepsy Ottawa and the Ottawa First Responders Foundation, organizations that provide essential services, education, and advocacy to members of our community who have faced life’s toughest challenges. Every dollar raised goes directly to these causes, helping first responders, and residents living with epilepsy. Come cheer on our team at Lansdowne Park or support us online—together we can pull for a great cause! Donations of $20 or more are eligible for charitable tax receipts.
