My Story…
In just a few weeks, I’ll be running my 5th Philadelphia Marathon — and once again, I’m proud to be supporting the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
Over the past year, I’ve watched more friends and loved ones — many of them far too young — receive cancer diagnoses. It’s frustrating and painful to see, and it’s something that’s felt far too close to home. I can’t stand by and do nothing, so running and fundraising for AACR has become my way of fighting back.
I first started running in memory of my grandfathers, who both passed away from cancer. But now, I also run for my friends and their families — for everyone who has shown strength, resilience, and hope in the face of this disease.
I believe deeply in the AACR’s mission to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, collaboration, and advocacy. The work they fund saves lives and drives real progress, and I’m honored to support them mile after mile.
If you’re able to give, please consider donating to AACR. Every dollar makes a difference — and every step I take will be in honor of those we’ve lost, those still fighting, and the hope that one day, we won’t have to lose anyone else to cancer. 💛
Donate to help Meghan raise money for 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend’s fundraising campaign.
