Help Jordan raise money

Ten years ago, I lost my dad to cancer. I miss him every day. Since my mom worked long hours, my dad was the one who packed lunches for me and my sisters, picked us up from school, and came to all our many lacrosse games. He always made me a special breakfast on days when I had a big test.

My dad dropped out of college as a junior. He wanted something different for me and my sisters — he and my mom told us we could go to college anywhere we wanted. His constant support allowed me to dream of and achieve an education for myself that he never could, first at the University of Virginia, and now at Princeton. 

This year, I'm running the Philadelphia Marathon and raising $1,000 for the American Association for Cancer Research. These funds will directly support the AACR’s mission to prevent and cure cancer through research, education, and science policy advocacy. Cancer research is progressing every year. With AI and other advances, we can help people live longer, healthier lives.

Cancer researchers need our help now. So far this year, the Trump Administration has cut more than $1 billion in grants for the National Institutes of Health. And his budget for 2026 includes cutting more than $2.7 billion from the National Cancer Institute — the largest funder of cancer research in the world.
