Hello all and welcome to my fundraising page!

I'm writing to you today with a story that's both deeply personal and profoundly hopeful. Many of you know my passion for running, particularly the Philadelphia Marathon, a race that holds a special place in my heart. It was my first marathon in 2022, and I've returned each year since, finding strength and solace in the challenge. This year, however, the race carries even greater significance.

For years, I've participated in the marathon to honor the memories of loved ones lost to cancer – my father, my grandmother, and my dear friend Carl Ferretti. These losses profoundly shaped my perspective, fueling my commitment to supporting cancer research and fundraising efforts. Each year, I've run with a specific individual in mind, carrying their spirit with me through the miles.

In 2025, however, my motivation is even more deeply rooted. This year, I run for Savannah Rose Ames, the vibrant seven-year-old daughter of my childhood friend, Brett and his wife Jess. Savannah is bravely navigating her oncology journey, facing a difficult path with astonishing courage, resilience, and a goofy spirit that shines through everything

Savannah's fight, and the unwavering support of her parents, Jess and Brett, have touched my heart in a way few things ever have. Witnessing their strength has reinforced my belief in the importance of supporting organizations like the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the primary sponsor of the Philadelphia Marathon. Every dollar raised goes directly to advancing cancer research, bringing us closer to a future where families won't have to face the devastation of this disease.

I'm running the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon, scheduled for November 23rd, not just to complete the race, but to make a difference. To honor Savannah's unwavering spirit, to support the tireless work of the AACR, and to offer hope to those facing similar challenges.
