Philadelphia Marathon AACR Runners For Research - "Fight Club"

This November, I am again lacing up my running shoes to fight cancer through the power of movement and community. On November 23rd, I’ll be tackling my 13th marathon, running the Philadelphia Marathon alongside my “Fight Club” team of seven dedicated runners, all in support of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) (https://www.aacr.org/). We’re running 26.2 miles to honor those touched by cancer—past, present, and future—and to fuel groundbreaking research that saves lives.

The AACR is in the fight against cancer. Based in Philadelphia with offices in Boston and Washington, D.C., they drive cutting-edge research, accelerate the spread of life-changing discoveries, and advance our understanding of cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Every step we take supports their mission to transform lives and bring us closer to a world without cancer.
