Welcome Volunteers!
We could not do this race without you! We have created specific jobs -- all of them lasting no more than three hours -- that we need help with.
Pre-Race:
- Sponsorship and local business solicitation
- Archiving historic photos: arranging and scanning into a Google Drive
- Event help with three historic talks held in Stanton Hall 3/20, 3/27 and 4/3
- Event help for the Dance Like Its 1954 on 4/12
Day of Race:
There will be specific tasks for the five different locations we need you:
- Expert Start at Knightville Dam -- 8AM - 11AM
- Classic Start in the center of Huntington just off the green bridge -- 9AM - noon
- Expert finish at the Rte 20 pulloff just across from the Hilltown Community Health Center -- 9AM - 11AM
- Strathmore Park on Rte 20 in Russell: note that this year, most boats and trailers will park here -- 9AM - noon, noon - 3PM
- Woronoco finish line area: NOTE there is no parking here but we need help loading shuttles available to take boats back to Strathmore. noon - 3PM
