- 5:00pm - Royal Mile
- 5:30pm - Wee Lad & Lassie Races
- 5:50pm - Kilted March to the Start
- 6:00pm - Classic 5-Mile

Capacity Limit 1,040: Historical records show that in the year of 1,040 Macbeth defeated Duncan...becoming King of the Scots. A cap of 1,040 runners? "What's done cannot be undone." (5.1 MacBeth) Note: The "1040" only applies to the 5 Mile (adult) cap.
BREAKING NEWS: The 1040 capacity was reached on March 1st! For part of the day the status was "SOLD OUT" (Thank you!). As 1040 celebrated the beginning of MacBeth's Kingship, we were given grace to extend our entry limit to the end of his reign in the year 1057!
Even More BREAKING NEWS: With the new 1057 limit being exceeded in only 4 days, the Town has made a final royal decree ... the limit is now set at 1545. (In recognition of the birth year of Lord Darnley!)
Kilt: It is 100% required/mandatory that everyone must wear a kilt to participate. But this year you are left to your own devices to obtain one. Many will have their own from past events. Some will pursue their own...perhaps from this economical source we have used in the past: Click-Kilt supplier . Or some may even try their hand at making their own kilt!
Race Events: The Classic 5 Mile is back, of course. The Royal Mile also, but will be run as a separate event prior to the 5 Mile, allowing people the option to run both - what we call completing "The Sir Mike!" And the "Wee Lad & Lassie" races too.

Extras: We look forward to announcing the unique features that have made the Perth Kilt Run an epic event. Will there be bag pipers? Most assuredly. Highland cows wandering the streets? Maybe not this year. Good Scottish fun? Aye!
Offering: All finishers will get an award. There will be awards for winners. The races will be timed using Enfield Timing with timing chips. The course will be closed to traffic and accurately measured. There will be several water stations. (We will expand and detail all this as we go along ... its a journey of faith for the runners, and the organizers lol.)
Refunds/Transfers: All sales are final - there are no refunds. If you wish to transfer your registration to someone else, please contact us at historicontariorun@gmail.com. Transfers will not be accommodated after May 21, 2025.
