Our story…

Thank you for Supporting TEAM PRF!

Progeria is an ultra-rare, fatal, “rapid-aging” disease that afflicts children who, without the FDA-approved treatment lonafarnib, die of heart disease at an average age of 14.5 years. PRF is the only non-profit organization solely dedicated to finding treatments and the cure for Progeria.

Together, we WILL find the cure!

Description

The Progeria Research Foundation is thrilled to once again be part of the Falmouth Road Race Numbers for Nonprofits program!

Thanks to our dedicated runners, PRF’s Falmouth Road Race team has raised nearly $210,000 gross since 2015, bringing us closer to additional treatments and the cure for Progeria.

Let’s make this year the best yet - support TEAM PRF today!

The Progeria Research Foundation's Mission:
To discover treatments and the cure for Progeria and its aging-related disorders, including heart disease.

What is Progeria?
Progeria is an ultra-rare, fatal, “rapid-aging” disease that afflicts children who, without the FDA-approved treatment lonafarnib, die of heart disease at an average age of 14.5 years. PRF is the only non-profit organization solely dedicated to finding treatments and the cure for Progeria, and is making phenomenal progress toward that goal.
