Our story…
The world of youth sports has split into two groups: the “haves” and the “have nots.” While some families have the ability to afford sports gear, leagues, and travel costs – many do not. Consequently, their kids are left behind on the sidelines.
Good Sports tackles the financial barrier to play by providing new sports/fitness equipment, apparel and footwear directly from the sporting goods companies, such as Under Armour and Nike, to youth organizations in low-income communities.
We know that kids who play do better. By supplying youth organizations with the gear they need, overhead costs are cut and more resources become available, helping children stay connected to their communities. As a result, children can experience the mental, physical, and social benefits that come with participating in active play at a young age.
The 2025 Falmouth Road Race team will support Good Sports’ mission to increase access to play for children in need in Massachusetts and across the country. Thank you for helping us drive equitable access to play!
