MARE's Mission
The Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange, Inc. (MARE) builds connections for youth in foster care with permanent and adoptive families.
We exist especially to create life-changing connections for the children and teens who wait the longest in Massachusetts foster care without permanent families, including children of color, teens and young adults, sibling groups, those with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ youth. To this end, we equip and support families to provide stability, healing, and belonging.
Description
The MARE Team is thrilled to join the Falmouth Road Race for the first time in 2025! All of our runners are making strides to make life-changing connections for children and teens in foster care.
Knowing that every child needs a safe, loving, permanent family to thrive, each of our teammates is running to raise $1,150 in support of MARE's work on behalf of the 1,150 Massachusetts youth who are currently in foster care with a goal of adoption.
