My Story…
This May, I’m running my first marathon to raise funds for the Alberta Cancer Foundation! This cause hits close to home this year as my amazing mom is navigating an early-stage cancer diagnosis. And before her, her mom lost her life to cancer at 44 years old.
My mom has taught me so much about facing hard moments with grace and leading with gratitude, and she has approached this season of life with that same strength. I’m incredibly proud to be her daughter and honoured to run and raise money in her name and in support of those facing a cancer diagnosis, and in memory of those who have fought.
I get all of my good traits from my mom, including my love of running. I can’t wait for her to be healthy soon and for May 24th!
