This event caters for everyone; Young, Old, Male, Female, Big, Small, Fast or Slow. Individuals and Teams.
The run/walk is held at Rhodes Park Reserve/Tai Tapu Domain, while the bike ride is 12.5km out and back circuit. The short course does one lap and the long course does 2 laps.
No hills and very little traffic makes this such an appealing event.
The distances are achievable, the Run/Walk is on a grass formed pathway surfaces at Rhodes Park Reserve and the trail follows the Halswell River out and back, which is a nice flat service.
The bike ride is 12.5 or 25km of fast flat ride on Old Tai Tapu Road from Rhodes Park Reserve to Rossendale Wines and return. The Long Course does 2 laps and Short Course 1 Lap with the last run/walk 2.5km for Long Course and 1.5km for Short Course.

We reiterate that the long course is not to be walked because of time restraints of all competitors. Any competitor wanting to walk the event, they should enter the short course.
This is a great spectator course for husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend or any other friend to come along and watch.
