I forgot to remind everyone in my last update that we have a training camp coming up.

SINISTER 7 TRAINING CAMP

This camp will get you out on some of the toughest parts of the course. The sections we run are weather-dependent, as we can still have snow up high in June.

LEG 1 UPDATE

I have good news and better news. The new leg 1 is spectacular. It's also harder and a wee bit longer, so I love it!

We are just in the process of updating the files online, and double-checking all of the data and maps. This will be available next week. As few features (some already mentioned):

• No more running on the highway
• No gravel road, and about the same amount of pavement (maybe a few hundred meters more)
• More scenic as you get into the forest earlier, and you run along the side of Hillcrest Mountain
• More single track earlier in the leg
• about 1km longer with ~ 300m more elevation gain/lost (and one really steep climb - yum!)

We will be updating the cutoff time for Leg 1 and 2... and possibly 3 to accommodate the change. The extra distance will be dropped later in the race, but we'll release that all at once next week.
