Funds Raised Through the 2026 Bay Race are Fueling the Future of Care at St. Joe’s

Racing Towards Robotic Surgery Innovation. This year, funds raised by Bay Race participants will largely fund robotic surgery innovation at St. Joe’s. From hip and knee replacements to cancer surgeries – robotics is helping patients to heal faster and go home sooner. To date, seven of the 10 types of robotic surgery performed at St. Joe’s remain unfunded by the province. Pledges made to Bay Race runners will help to ensure every patient who may benefit from robotic surgery can have access to it at St. Joe’s. Learn more at www.stjoesfoundation.ca/robotics.

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation has been a charity partner since 2005. In that time, St. Joe’s has raised over $5.4 million to support patient care and research at the Hospital.
