Founded in 1848, the Society of Saint-Vincent de Paul of Montreal is one of the first mutual aid organizations in Quebec. Operating in Montreal, Laval and in the MRC of L’Assomption, our mission consists of serving people in precarious situations by promoting their dignity, their autonomy and their integration into the community. Anchored in a tradition of solidarity, our organization offers a food aid service, the Opération Bonne Mine school perseverance program, Chez Vincent second-hand stores and facilitates access to essential goods.
