Why I'm Running for MUHC Palliative Care

This October, I'm running the Beneva Half Marathon in support of the MUHC Palliative Care Unit, and I want to be honest about why.

I don't have a personal family story tied to this cause. What I do have is a deep belief that how we care for people at the end of their lives matters enormously. Palliative care isn't about giving up, it's about dignity, comfort, and making sure no one has to face their final chapter alone or in unnecessary pain.

The MUHC does that work every single day, right here in Montreal. I figured if I'm going to put in the miles anyway, I might as well point them toward something that genuinely matters.
