Help Mekayla raise money

I’m running the marathon in support of the McGill University Health Centre Foundation, which supports researchers like myself in advancing medical knowledge and patient care. I’m a PhD candidate in the Vascular Health Unit, where we study cardiovascular health across the lifespan, from pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia to atherosclerosis and stroke. Cardiovascular disease remains one of the leading causes of death in Canada, so our research aims to improve how heart disease is predicted, prevented, and treated. As someone loves running (this will be my second marathon of the year!), I’m grateful to be able to put my passion and effort toward a cause I truly care about.
